Can't believe that it's been more than 8 months since I came back from NYC. Eight months and this is only the first entry on the trip. -__-

Had a hard time selecting the photos cause I took more than 4000 photos for this trip. Total file size of the photos? A staggering 25.8GB!!! Even more than what I took on my LA trip (1852 photos, a mere 4.25GB).

Just looking at the photos makes me want to head back to the Big Apple. Miss the weather and the food. Not the crowd though. NYC during Christmas and New Year is truly like a mad house! Especially at Times Square!

Miss the huge Disney store at Times Square; I literally went crazy the moment I stepped inside. Spent lots of moola on Toy Story memorabilia, especially over the cute aliens!

Miss the huge CandyLand at Toys'r'Us where they had a Willy Wonka section and those Giant boxes of Nerds.

Stepping into St Paul's chapel brought back memories of 911. Memorial altars set up in the chapel, tributes from well-wishes. As you stroll through the chapel, studying the photos of those who had left, reading through the messages, you can't help but feel deeply for those whose life have been affected by 911.

Stepping into Rockefellar Centre with the gigantic Christmas tree lifted the sombre mood from St Paul's chapel. Christmas lights, jubilant kids and adults skating away at the ice-skating rink. Christmas seems so much alive and magical as compared to Singapore.

Bubba Gump for a not-so-mouth watering dinner. Third time at Bubba Gump (first in LA, second in HongKong) and the food is still pretty much the same. Only reason why I loved visiting Bubba Gump was because of Forest Gump. Run, Forest Run.

Strolled down Times Square to Macys, the world largest store where everyone was busy with their Christmas shopping. Love the huge "Believe" on display at the building. If you believe, one day, your dreams will come true. For me, during the Christmas season in 2010, my dream of having a white Christmas before I hit the big 3 came true in the form of NYC.
